Hinge, a dating app that connects you with friends of friends on Facebook, held its San Francisco launch party on January 16 and I was there to capture the festivities.
With free booze, free food and a live DJ at Minna Gallery, the Hinge party became really fun, really fast. Attendees were also able to connect with each other via the app, which was helpful for those a little too shy to start up a conversation face-to-face.
The event had a great turnout, with people getting a little wild on the dance floor while others socialized. It was a really fun night to photograph and I met some awesome new friends, too.
This is one thing of the many things I love about San Francisco. The city is brimming with fun startups that throw fun parties, and everyone loves to work hard and play hard. I'm lucky to be at these events and capture that play time, and I hope my photos remind the hard working folks in the city why they do what they do.
